…In 8 hours in morning of 26 April in 1993-year Latvian beauty Dardthe gave birth to little red sun. He was named Sudar for the beautiful noble exterior and the imperturbable behavior. That time no one had known nobody yet and didn’t guess that in future times his name would pronounced with hope the ten children-ill and their parents, but he of own would work selfless to help his little friends which would utterly devoted with dignity kept the honor him name and realized all meaning him work. But that will be. And then in 1993 year he frolicked with complete unconcern near his mother and provoked with other foals, he not even suspected about the destination to pave the way of hippotherapy in Belarus. The future teacher of BSAHRH Valentina Vinogradova bought him in 6 monthly ages at stud-horse-farm. Sudar had seen another future at that time: there is a stubborn rise to highly Olympus sport. But the fortune told another plan. The first blow was find to Sudar in 9 month – he lost of sight on the right eye and came parcel blind. But his love of life let not be perish. He adjusts to remainder sight. At the beginning of 1994 I with Sudar came to work in child’s park in the name of Gorkii of Minsk. During three year of the laborious work we made very much: created the attraction “riding” and riding school for healthy children of town. In the same place in park Sudar met his first love – Ukrainian beauty Kalyna that abided along his life. First my apprentices (now they have already begun to instructors) very often remembered what strong and intense Sudar made court to graceful, slim and stone-blind Katusha: he scratched dearly her withers and neck and stored quietly in her ear and left the best grass for her and the beauty Katusha took highly the all care of Sudar and she pressed oneself fondly to his powerful shoulder the neck and head. In the same place we began to carry with invalid-children in the riding. However it didn’t like administration of the child’s park and in 1996 year we had an unforeseen troubles: they turned out of the child’s park of culture. Not to help the address to the higher echelons. We had to find a new place for keeping of horses. Now we aren’t remembering the last three a very hard years (1997-1999): where had our horses not been! At the beginning of 2000 year our Katusha was died and Sudar had received the trauma whereupon he had a sick lift front leg… But God didn’t leave to us: our horses were sheltered to manager of horse sport’s school “Zazerye” L. Jushkevich. Besides, general director of public corporation “MINDAVG” of Minsk A.Truhanovich responded to our call, he gave a car for passage in place of study and back to our invalid-children in the course of three years. At this hard time head child’s neuropathology of Belarus, Doctor of Belorussian academy of medical science, professor G.Shanko supported our work. As early as 1998 we made a resolve with benediction of dean f. George/Latushko of orthodox Sviato-Petro-Pavlovskii cathedral of Minsk: to found own not-for-profit organization with purpose of development to hippotherapy in Belarus, in expediency we had made sure that in park of Gorkii, where the 5th year girl with cerebral palsy and bedridden was able sit and she stirred a hands and foots, enunciated the words and made a first step with support of her mother after 3 month of our lessons. In 11 August of 1998 year the birth of Belarussian social association horse riding & hippotherapy was taken place. The birth our organization was marking the arrival of two “therapeutists” – the cocky naughty – pony Sir Shnurok and adult thoughtful horse Zavetni Uspeh. With the advent in our collective of new horse with so name was brought hopes to the future. Such is this hope and thanks to our first “doctor” and “physician” – Sugar, it’s accounted for our symbolism: the child is in black clothes of grief and despair from his own illness, pulled down despairingly the face, put one’s arms round neck of red horse with hope – in his own hope of recovery and in our basic instrument of medical. This pair is encircled with horseshoe – the symbol of happiness and good luck, and the white is a symbol of divine mercy and grace that we hope. The new century was resulted in new coil in the development. Consisting in our friends was a part of A.Shirokova (manager of the Republican Rehabilitation Center for children-invalids of Minsk), V. Shurmanov (chief executive of the Fund Presidential Program), P.Prokopovich (chairman of Board of National Bank of Belarus), V. Lvov (manager of Joint Enterprise “LZHM” in Minsk), and doctor veterinary medicine E. Salopek and other private person which done what one can to help. During two year of the new century was a many doings: the aged horse Robinzon was devoted me, he stayed a first sport horse for our children and the young horse Malysh which only understand a difficult science of “salve”; we was founded the own methods of curative horse-riding; were conducted the First International seminar of Hippotherapy with participation the specialists from Poland and Russia and was a first event of invalid sport in category “training”; was met with approval and had the benediction of Metropolit Minski and Slutski Patriarchy Exarches Vseia Belarus’ Filaret... But we had not only joy. In 22 of March in 2001 year we had a terrible blow: suddenly our living symbol and the first “doctor” was died – Sudar. Though this blow was very strong, God gave the strengths so as to stand and don’t break and don’t refuse a decision which one day adopted – to serve of cause development of hippotherapy and invalid horse riding sport in Belarus.
